Returns and refunds

At KF Plastics we want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase. If we made a mistake. Please contact us right away. We want to make it right!

We recommend you read our refund policy prior to making a purchase from KF Plastics, so you are familiar with our policy on refunds and your rights the Australian Consumer Law.

We also recommend you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you or that you collect from KF Plastics, to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods, including that the goods are of acceptable quality, and match the description we have provided.

Change of Mind

Please choose carefully as refunds are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind, made the wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere. We recommend that you carefully preview any orders before adding them your shopping cart or sending and proceeding with your purchase order. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for unwanted Goods, unless they are faulty or identified as damaged on receipt of delivery.

Goods Damaged in Transit

If any goods arrive damaged, please contact our team as soon as practicable and provide photo’s where possible. KF Plastics will arrange to have the damaged goods returned and either arrange a replacement, a repair or refund the price to you. Damaged goods must be returned in the condition received by you with all original packaging and accessories.

Returns and Repairs

You may return goods damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods we have delivered to you by mail, courier or directly to the KF Plastics warehouse. We would recommend that you keep a tracking number when returning goods by post or courier. Reasonable postage and courier charges will be reimbursed.  

Goods must be returned within 14 days. If any goods cannot be easily returned to the KF Plastics warehouse, due to their size, the fault or because they have been affixed or installed in your premises, please contact us and we will arrange an inspection to assess the goods for repairs.

Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time. You may be provided with an indicative repair time, which time may vary due to reasons beyond our reasonable control, such as stock availability.

You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply. We may provide you with an indicative fee, which fee may vary due to reasons beyond our control.

In some circumstances, goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.

Exceptions

In the event that KF Plastics does offer a return on purchased goods the goods must be in an unused and undamaged condition. This return exception is at the discretion of KF Plastics and does not apply to custom cut pieces, machined parts, painted or printed parts that have been at your request. Freight charges will not be reimbursed in this case and a restocking fee of $30 + GST or 10% of the invoice value (whichever is greater) may apply.

Cancellation

KF Plastics reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of: 50% of the total order value; or, the total value of work in progress relating to that order; whichever is greater, on any order which has been accepted by us and subsequently cancelled by you.
